I'm merely fascinated by the concept that these people will find this page in a matter of a day Oh yes, and my results are below. Oddly enough, this is pretty darn accurate, in my opinion anyway.

So my mum sends me an e-card from Hallmark.com on Monday. I am warmly greeted with a message something similar to “ Greetings, Our site is currently under heavy load, please check back later”

To a non-technical person like my mum, she doesn’t understand why this happens. I myself as a more technical person, have more of an idea, but I’m concerned when it happens that the level of staffing doesn’t quite cut the mustard. And then they release something like this. Sniff. that just warms your heart doesn’t it? Nice to see they make good appologies as well as cards. They really do have something for every occassion. Dear honey, I tried to serve several thousand page requests but my server choked, can you forgive me?

Val_apology

Apparantly they also have a link here but I’m not sure how long they’ll keep it up.

Omar beat me to posting this tip on adding a slickrun command for the new Google Maps.
Cheers Omar! I guess you have to get up pretty early in the morning to beat those pacific coast dwellers to something when you're living in the Colorado Mountains.

That said, I feel no shame for posting this

Open Slick Run. Use the magic word ‘add’ to create a new word

Sr01

Use the following info
magicword=map
filename=iexplore.exe
parameters=http://maps.google.com/maps?q=$W$

Sr02

Now use your new ‘map’ keyword in slick run.. While you're at it, Donate, because Eric Baydenis the man.
