I thought it would be cool to purchase myself an iPod. I have this horrible awful taste in my mouth now.

A) I have two choices to sync my music, iTunes or MusicMatch. Neither of which I like. My music is already meticulously tagged and organized on my hard drive. I don't need a program to do it for me. If I want to drag/drop my files to the external storage which happens to provide playback, more's the better.

B) My iPod nano has been 'alive' for all of 72 hours now, and it's already locked up. Where's the power button? Where's the reset button? I don't really feel like spending the time to find out how to reset it.

To reset iPod nano:

1 Toggle the Hold switch on and off (set it to Hold, and then turn it off again).

2 Press and hold the Center and Menu buttons for at least 6 seconds, until the

Apple logo appears.

C) When I leave Apple feedback on their site at this URI http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipod.html today. I expect to be able to leave appropriate feedback - They had no listing for my iPod model or my iTunes version. I had to list it in the comments text-box.

I appreciate that they finally put out a product I wanted to buy, however, this is not ensuring my already lacking confidence in the company. I'm probably going to take it back to the store at this point and go buy a competing product if I don't get some satisfaction by the end of the day.

I'm sure of it now that Apple caters mostly to mindless people who accept these product flaws as quirks. Sorry, I don't put up for it from anyone.
